Unit 2- Developing the Zine

I printed the final layout of the zine and cute up the illustrations and re-stuck them on black a4 card. I felt the black added another depth to the images and set an effective backdrop for them.

I then drew over the illustrations and titles as the printer had made the lines appear faint.

I also added captions to make the images more apparent in their message.

This is the photocopy of the above piece. I used my home printer and so the quality is low. I plan on printing these at college with a better quality printer.

This is a print i did at college, I've written edits I'd like to take. I enjoy the coloured effect as it appears like a risograph print- which is something I'd like to experiment with in the future.
