Gestalt principles in relation to primary research- FMP

Another conversation that arose roundly primary research was with my aunty, who recommended I research Gestalt principles. Below are my notes. I intend on using what I've learned to classify the primary research drawings into each principle as a means to edit the selection I have down to just 4.

Below are the 4 drawings I selected.

Proximity

Common region

Closure

Figure/ground

I then decided to redraw each image myself, in order to dissect the image the participant saw and understand the components to each one.

Now that these images have been down out in more detail and on a larger scale, I am able to scan them in and manipulate them digitally - which gives me much more freedom as a creator. I have come to learn that taking simple steps like this to develop an idea often leads to a grander development that can create a more considered and defined outcome.

I now intend on experimenting with the technique of sun printing, using the imagery I have created here.
