Unit 2- Analysing survey results
I decided to create a survey on sustainable cultural traditions in order to inform my work. This is the survey:

I then made charts to help me analyse the answers participants gave.
Considering the majority of participants were white/British, this survey really taught me the reality of my own cultures attitudes towards sustainability and it inspired me to produce some work that's inspired by this. Perhaps I could create something that shows the British public sustainable cultural traditions within their own culture, teaching them how to use them and in turn teaching myself about my own culture.
From these pie charts, I can see that the majority of white/British people:
- Are very willing to change their lifestyle to be more sustainable.
- Very likely to try an environmentally friendly product.
- Have a moderately sustainable lifestyle.
- Believe their culture moderately encourages sustainable living.
- Extremely concerned about the environment.
- Second hand items, including charity shop clothes
- Recyling items and using the food bin
- Cycling and walking places instead of driving
- Growing own food in allotments
