Unit 1- 'What Are You Like?' Developing ideas

After learning the importance of developing my ideas and documenting them in previous projects, I made sure to record my thoughts as they happened.

I decided to experiment with Adobe Illustrator and decided to reproduce some of the animals and books I drew in my doodles. I looked at the way different shapes could be manipulated and also used the 'pattern' tool for the first time.

After trying out the 'pattern' tool I was inspired to build my 'bank of materials'. I went around my college campus and photographed what inspired me, intending to use these later on in my work and in the future.

These are the doodles I produced when brainstorming ways I could develop my initial response to the prompts. I decided to work further on the 'collage room' idea.

This is the layout I planned after brainstorming the idea of composing a collage of a room that responds to multiple prompts.
